Ce pain fourré au fromage est un véritable festin à partager. Un pain rond au levain est évidé et rempli d'un mélange de fromage à la crème, de sauce Worcester, de paprika et de Red Storm , notre Red Leicester vintage, avant d'être cuit au four jusqu'à ce que l'intérieur soit fondu. Il est parfait pour tremper - nous aimons griller le pain jeté au four pour cela, servi avec une sélection de craquelins et de crudités.

METHOD

  1. Carefully cut a circle out of the loaf and remove core of bread, taking care not to damage base crust or cheese will leak out.
  2. Mix together the cream cheese, Red Storm, Worcester sauce, a sprinkle of paprika, black pepper and beat until smooth.
  3. Brush the inside of the loaf with melted butter and spoon in the cheese mixture.
  4. Cut the bread that was removed into small chunks, toss in olive oil and place on non-stick baking sheet and bake with loaf. These will only take 15 minutes.
  5. Place loaf on baking sheet and cook for 20-25 minutes until melted and golden brown.
  6. Serve with chunks of toasted bread, crackers and crudités.
